About Bodhi Advocates
A Legal Practice Rooted in Steadiness and Trust
We founded Bodhi Advocates on a simple belief: people navigating pension concerns deserve clear information, careful handling, and an advocate who genuinely listens.
Back to HomeOur Story
How Bodhi Advocates Began
Bodhi Advocates opened its doors in Ratchathewi after its founders noticed a consistent gap: people approaching retirement or facing pension disputes had often gone months or years without anyone who could simply explain their situation to them. Legal correspondence had piled up unanswered. Fund statements were treated as incomprehensible. Important deadlines had passed unnoticed.
The practice was built to address that gap directly. We focus exclusively on pension matters because depth of focus, in our experience, produces better outcomes than breadth of coverage. Our team understands the Social Security Office, the Government Pension Fund, and private provident fund frameworks in Thailand — not theoretically, but through the practical work of reviewing documents, corresponding with fund administrators, and representing clients in formal proceedings.
The name comes from the Bodhi tree — a symbol of sheltering steadiness and quiet endurance. Those are qualities we aim to bring to every client matter: not urgency or pressure, but sustained, attentive support through what can be a slow and sometimes difficult process.
Our Mission
What Guides Our Work
We believe that legal support should reduce anxiety, not add to it. Every aspect of how we work — from the first enquiry to the final case review — is shaped by that principle.
Plain Communication
We do not assume any prior legal knowledge. Every finding, document, or process is explained in terms that are immediately useful.
Transparency About Outcomes
We set out realistic timelines and likely scenarios from the outset. We do not overstate what legal action can achieve.
Patient and Steady Pace
We follow your lead. There is no pressure to move faster than you are comfortable with, and no decisions are made without your understanding.

How We Work
Standards We Hold Ourselves To
Bar Council Registration
All advocates practising at Bodhi Advocates hold valid registration with the Lawyers Council of Thailand and meet continuing professional development requirements.
Client Confidentiality
Client information is held under strict professional secrecy. Documents and correspondence are stored securely and are never shared without explicit consent, unless required by law.
Written Summaries on Every Matter
Every assessment and consultation concludes with a written summary provided to the client — findings, options, and next steps in plain terms, for their records.
Conflict of Interest Policy
We conduct a conflict-of-interest check before accepting any new matter and decline instructions where independence may be compromised.
Accessible Communication
We respond to client queries within one working day. Complex matters are explained in writing as well as in conversation, and we welcome questions at any stage.
Fee Transparency
All fees are confirmed in writing before any work begins. There are no hidden charges, no surprise invoices, and no fees beyond what was agreed at the outset.
Pension Legal Support in Bangkok — What Sets Bodhi Advocates Apart
Pension matters occupy a particular space in legal work. They are rarely urgent in the way a criminal case is urgent, but they are significant in ways that compound quietly over time. A misunderstood document, an overlooked entitlement, or a dispute left unaddressed can affect a person's financial position for years. The clients who come to Bodhi Advocates often describe the same experience: a sense that something was not quite right, but no clear idea of where to begin or who to ask.
Our practice is built to be the right starting point for those conversations. We handle Thai Social Security pension matters, Government Pension Fund issues, private provident fund disputes, and situations where a client simply needs their documents reviewed and explained before deciding on a course of action. We work in English and Thai, and our communication style is shaped by the needs of people who are not legal professionals.
Bodhi Advocates is registered at 36 Phaya Thai Road in Ratchathewi, Bangkok — accessible by BTS Phaya Thai and within the central business district. We serve clients across Bangkok and accept enquiries from individuals located elsewhere in Thailand whose matters fall within our areas of practice.
